BOOK REVIEWS OF OUR PRODUCTS	Books "The Great Patriotic War Series" of books will cover the significant contribution that Soviet aviation had during the war with Germany between 1941 and 1945. One of the distinguishing factors of the Soviet aerial victory over the Luftwaffe (German Air Force) were the totally original new aircraft designs such as the Yakovlev Yak-1 and Yak-7. fighters. These Yakovlev fighters, along with the designs of Mikoyan and Gurevich, and Lavochkin, allowed the VVS (Soviet Air Force) to sweep the skies over the Eastern Front of the once mighty Luftwaffe. The first book in this series, Red Beauty, covers the historical, technical, and developmental aspects of the Yak-1 and Yak-7 fighters. This volume has 120+ pages, soft cover and perfect bound, twenty plus (20+) pages of 1/48 scale or larger technical drawings, and one map. This volume is currently out of print. When this edition is reprinted, it will be completely revised, updated, and will include photographs. The second book in the series, Red Beauty, 2, deals with the combat operations of these two Soviet fighters. This volume has a similar layout to the first, fifty-seven pages with 100+ archival photographs, and six pages of color side views. The next books in this series will cover the MiG-1 and MiG-3 fighters, the Il-2 ground attack aircaft, and the VVS' use of the Curtiss P-40. Eventualy, the entire series will cover the other Soviet aviation designs of bombers, fighters, and attack aircraft. In addition to this, there will also be "special" releases of "Lend- Lease" aircraft that the Soviets used, such as the above mentioned P-40, like the Bell P-39, Hawker Hurricane, North American P-51 and B-25, Supermarine Spitfire, Republic P-47, Douglas A-20, and many others.

Aeronautical Reviewis a premium quality and significant contribution to aeronautical journalism. This magazine, which will be coming soon, will cover the less well documented, but no less important, aspects of aviation history from man's first attempts at flight to space exploration. Each issue, which will consist of 120+ pages and only ten of those in advertising, will have in depth articles from some of the world's leading aviation historians.
When one examines each issue of Aeronautical Review they will be receiving a tour of some of the best aviation historical literature in the world. Each issue will have approximately one-half of the articles covering World War Two era subjects. In each issue there will also be one-half of the total articles devoted to some era that deals with Russian or Soviet aviation subjects. With two major articles of twenty plus pages in length, and several smaller articles of four to ten pages in length.
Besides major and smaller articles, there will also be a photographic journal, museum and historical group tours, and aviation archeological efforts in each issue.

Flight Leader is a monthly newsletter published by Snow Leopard Productions. This publication will cover the lesser known aspects of aerial combat operations. The first issue deals with Soviet VVS Reserve Fighter Regiments, and Soviet Fighter Tactics as they relate to German Luftwaffe operations. There is also a Readers Section for feedback and relavant questions.
Upcoming issues will deal with how Soviet aviation armament affected aerial combat tactics, how the bombing policies of the U.S.A.A.F. during the 1930s created the situation for the bombing tactics used by B-26 Marauder crews over Europe against Adolf Hitler's Festung Europa, the United States' propeller governor for their aircraft engines in the late 1930s and early 1940s affected fighter operations in the skies over Finland and Guadalcanal, and how did the Brewster Buffalo fighter's landing gear problems precluded its continued use in the U.S. Navy, but would redeem itself in Finnish service.
