BIJOU VIDSTREAMER SELLS FOREIGN VIDEO RIGHTS

So maybe it's not gonna get the hype "The Last Broadcast" did, going
from a net to 'real world' commodity. One gets the feeling after
viewing "Barn of the Blood Llama," filmmaker Kevin L. West could care
less. After all, there are none of the usual commercial concessions
in his work. Even the dialogue is "Dubbed in English."

But reality is a different matter. Mr. West is currently involved
in completing principal photography on his latest feature. So like
every other under-funded indiemaker, he was more than glad to sell
foreign video rights to his first epic "Blood LLama" (currently
screening here at the Cafe) to Australian home video, as well as
finalize a deal with a UK cable company.

The director was generous enough to share his success with us,
thanking the Cafe and other sites who have helped promote his efforts.
While that's well and good, all we're wondering is: when the hell is
someone gonna grab domestic video and DVD?
