Prince George's County Will Book Liber T page 489

I Samuel Cave testator to the aforegoing will do hereby make this codicil to the same, whereas I have purchased of Samuel Judson Coolidge a tract or parcel of land lying in Prince George's county called Doves Perch and Doves Next and Coleings Lot, containing one hundred and twenty-three or four acres, more or less, since making the aforegoing will and which may be considered as part of the residue of my estate. I therefore give and devise the same to my grandson Samuel Cave Moran, son of my daughter Jane who intermarried with Mr. John Moran, to him and his heirs forever (after the decease of my wife) also two Negro children, one called Hanna's daughter of Nell heretofore bequeathed to my daughter Jane, and her increase, also I give and bequeath to my said grandson Negro Charles, son of Nell, born since making this will, to him and his heirs forever. In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal to this codicil and publish and pronounce it to be part of my will aforesaid this 7th October, 1800.           Sam Cave {seal}
