Pasiphaë, daughter of Helios and Perseis, was the wife of Minos and the mother of Androgeos, Ariadne, and Phaedra. With the ploy of a wooden cow built by Daedalus, Pasiphaë had intercourse with a white bull, and the offspring was the Minotaurus.
