note: Edward Teague was transported to Maryland by Thomas Jones in 1675. After Edward's death, Susannah took her children and moved to St. George's Parish, Baltimore County (later Harford County), MD. Susannah Welch Teague later married Emanuel Smith, administrator of Edward's estate, and they had two daughters, Martha Smith (born February 16,1698) and Mary Smith (born June 1, 1701.) Susannah Welch Teague Smith died (April 3,1741) in Harford County, MD.
