The son named Michael died after his father wrote his will, but before his father died. The wife of his son Michael later (by 1769) married a Goldsmith. The wife of his son Jonathan later (after 1767) married Alexander Duvall. The wife of his son Vincent later (after 1779) married Benjamin Ogden.

He never took up his grant; he sold it to John Logan, who surveyed the land in 1774. A bill of sale for a slave named George Jackson is recorded in Charles County Land Record Book S #3 1770-1775, page 621. It was signed March 17, 1774. The daughter named Frances Ann was christened (May 12, 1751) in Saint John's Parish, Prince George's County, MD.
