Read the section on "The Theological Review" inAmerican Literature (Renaissance and Reformation) American Literature: Lecture One.
THEN, discuss one of the five tenets thoroughly in terms of the discussion found in the lecture [TULIP] above and in terms of a reliable and scholarly PRIMARY source found on the WWW. You will be reading WHAT Calvin wrote himself NOT what another person has written about Calvin! Quote and paraphrase Calvin's historical and theological discussion of the Tenet. Click on "Links to the Reformation, below, and you will see the following: "Calvin, John: Institutes of the Christian Religion," go to a section which discusses the one of the Tenets of Calvin which you found in "American Literature, Part I. The Institutes are ordered chapter by chapter, and you might find your discussion available in a more useful (shorter) form.
