SAN ANTONIO, TX-The Writer Friends of the San Antonio Public Library will hold its fourth quarterly meeting of 2001 at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at the Central Library, 600 Soledad, San Antonio, Texas 78205. The phone number for library information is (210) 207-2500.

Published novelist, poet, and screenwriter, Dr. David Breeden, (originally scheduled for the Sept. 11, meeting, which was canceled) will speak on "Crossing the Genre Lines in Fiction and Screenwriting or Busy Bees Love Cross-Pollination." He will discuss plot structure in novels and screenplays, some realities of the movie business, turning a screenplay into a novel and vice versa, the not-so-subtle differences of point of view, tense, and subplot, and his big mistakes.
