During the last week in September, 2001, I visited my brother, Jack and his wife, Lucy Ann at their new home in the mountains at Red River, New Mexico. The house is located at over 9,000 feet elevation. It was a new experience for me to be at such an altitude as my past travel centered on the two coasts and the flatland midsection known as the Midwest. During the week I took some 175 digital pictures with my Kodak DC-240 camera of the mountains and other points of interest. These pages exhibit some of these pictures along with comments giving my impression of the land and its culture. ----Harold Arnold (hhullar5@texas.net) . |
