Clarence entered the Army sometime during 1941. He was assigned to the U.S. Army Air Force where he served as an aircraft mechanic on B-17 aircraft flying out of bases in England. He attained the rank of Staff Sergeant during his tour of duty and was discharged from the Army during 1944. Clarence passed away August 14, 1985.
