U.S. Army 1951 - 1953
Millard entered the U.S. Army on September 5, 1951. He was stationed at Fort Lee, Virginia, Fort Bliss, Texas and Fort Sam Houston, Texas stateside. He also served with the U.S. Forces in Europe at Lengries, Germany. Millard attained the rank of 1st Lieutenant before his discharge on December 19, 1953.
