U.S. Army 1951 - 1952
Sammy entered the U.S. Army on January 18, 1951. He was stationed at Camp Custer, Michigan and Fort Sam Houston, Texas stateside. He also was stationed oversea at Landstuhl, Germany. Sammy attained the rank of Private 1st Class before his discharge from the Army on December 30, 1952.
