Ben Zimmerlie, age 64, passed away Sunday, January 1, 1995. Mr. Zimmerlie was retired civil service from Kelly A.F.B. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes and member of the Alamo Historical Car Club. Mr. Zimmerlie was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Lillian L. Zimmerlie; daughter, Carolyn Tezel; grandson, Michael Tezel; brother, Charles Zimmerlie; sister, Clara Zimmerlie; numerous nieces and nephews. Family will be receiving friends 7-9:00 P.M., Monday, January 2, 1995 at Roy Akers Funeral Chapels. Funeral services will be held 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, January 3, 1995 at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
