Heather Ann Willms, 21, passed away Monday, February 21, 2005.  Heather attended Stevenson Middle School and was a 2001 graduate from Sandra Day O'Connor High School where she was the first three-year letterman athletic trainer for the football team, member of the German Club and Student Council.  She also attended San Antonio College and Texas Lutheran University.  Heather was member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes and was active in the Youth Group.  She previously worked as a waitress for Texas Land & Cattle and was currently working at Champ's Americana Restaurant.  Heather had a loving and gentle soul that touched everyone she met.  She never met a stranger and therefore had an enormous circle of friends whom she cared for very much.  She had a love for pets and was lovingly known as 'Kitten' by her family.  She leaves many memories and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Heather was preceded in death by her grandfather Stephen Willms.  She is survived by her loving parents Gordon Willms & wife Marianne, Donna Ellis & husband Clifford; siblings Amanda, Olivia & Michaela Willms, Jackson & Jason Ellis; grandparents Sandra De Leon, Vernel Willms, Jim & Marilyn Wright, Don & Inga Bailey, Jewel & Jim Cash; great grandparents Bill & R'Dell McMillian; aunts Mary McConkey & Lisa Hart; uncles Royce Willms & wife Loretta, Scott Willms & wife Ann, David De Leon, & David McConkey; and numerous cousins and friends.  Visitation will be held 5-9:00 P.M., Friday, February 25, 2005 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 26, 2005 at Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, TX.  Internment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes, TX.  Please join us in honoring Heather by visiting our memorial at www.mem.com and share your thoughts and fond memories with our family.  Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.

May 17, 1983 - February 21, 2005

Heather Willms passed away on February 21, 2005, at the age of 21.  She was born on May 17, 1983, in San Antonio, Texas and baptized into her faith on September 27, 1998 here at Zion Lutheran Church.

Heather attended Stevenson Middle School and was a 2001 graduate of O'Connor High School where she was the first 3-year letterman athletic trainer for the football team, member of the German Club and Student Council.  She also attended Texas Lutheran University and was currently attending San Antonio College.  Heather was active in the youth group here at Zion.

She previously worked for Texas Land & Cattle and was currently working at Champps Americana Restaurant.

Heather's life with us came to an end on Monday, February 21, 2005.  We look forward to our resurrection day when all who believe will be reunited in Christ.

She is survived by her parents Gordon Willms and wife Marianne, Donna Ellis and husband Clifford; sisters Amanda, Olivia and Micaela Willms; brothers Jackson and Jason Ellis; grandparents Sandra De Leon, Vernel Willms, Marilyn & Jim Wright, Inga & Don Bailey, Jewel & Jim Cash; great-grandparents R'Dell & Bill McMillian; aunts Mary McConkey and Lisa Hart; uncles Royce Willms and wife Loretta, Scott Willms and wife Ann, David De Leon and David McConkey; and numerous cousins and friends.
