Mrs. Ida Weyel, 64, of 1838 West Poplar street, mother of Capt. Emil Scheffler of the San Antonio police department, died at her home at 1 p.m. Saturday.  A native of Helotes, Mrs. Weyel was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Rumpel, pioneer residents of Helotes.  Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Riebe funeral chapel.
     Besides Captain Scheffler, Mrs. Weyel is survived by her husband, Theo H. Weyel, retired San Antonio fire captain; another son, Arthur Weyel; five grandchildren; three brothers, Charles, Frank and Antone Rumpel, and three sisters, Mrs. Theo Crewelge, Miss Mary Rumpel and Mrs. Walter Gales (sic), all of Helotes.
