WENZEL

Lt. Col. Johanna (Jo) Wenzel USAF, (Ret.), born on October 19, 1938 in Newland, NC, passed away on June 14, 2000 at the age of 61.  Lt. Col. Wenzel was retired after 22 years of military service and had worked for the Dialysis Unit at the University Hospital for eight years and was a member of the American Nephrology Association.  Survivors include her husband of 39 years, David E. Wenzel; daughter, Patricia Wenzel; brothers, J.T. Shoupe, Gerald Shoupe and Grover Shoupe Jr. and their families.  Visitation Monday, June 19, 2000 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Sunset.  Funeral Services Tuesday, June 20, 2000 at 1:00 P.M. at Sunset Northwest Chapel with Interment following in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
