Joseph Weidner, 65, died at a local hospital Saturday morning of injuries received Friday in falling from a wagon near his home at Holetes. He was a native of Comal County. He was a member of the Herman Sons and the Germania Farmers' Society of Anhalt.
Besides his widow, Mrs. Mary Weidner, he leaves two sons, Alex and Willie Weidner of Helotes, two daughters, Mrs. Ida Kappelman and Mrs. Amanda Schlather of Bulverde, one brother, Carl Weidner of Comal County and 14 grandchildren.
The funeral will be held in Helotes Sunday afternoon, the Rev. William M. Laubach, pastor of the Helotes Lutheran Church, officiating.
