FARMER'S BODY FOUND HANGED

Brother Locates Man After Search of Farm

The body of Alex Weidner, 47, farmer, was found Sunday hanging from a limb of an elm tree on his farm 17 miles west on Culebra Road, by his brotheer, William Weidner. Early Sunday morning members of the family searched for and could not locate Weidner until the brother discovered the body. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the residence. Rev. W. W. Laubach of Helotes Lutheran Church will officiate. Justice of the Peace E. H. Talbert, Harlandale, indicated a verdict of suicide would be returned although no official verdict was given.
Weidner, a native of Bulverde, and resident on Culebra Road for 27 years, is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ida Weidner; one daughter, Miss Rosa Weidner; one son, Roland Weidner; his mother, Mrs. Marie Weidner; one brother, William Weidner, and two sisters, Mrs. Adolph Kappelman and Mrs. Edwin Schlather, both of Bulverde.

Funeral services will be held at the residence on the Culebra Road, Monday afternoon, March 12, at 2 o'clock. Rev. W. W. Laubach of the Helotes Lutheran Church officiating. Interment in the Helotes Lutheran Cemetery, under direction of the Riebe Undertaking Company.
