TIETZE


Loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend William H. Tietze went to be with the lord June 4, 2008 surrounded by his family.  William was born December 18, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his father William E. Tietze and father-in-law Rene C. Green.  He is loved and will be missed by his wife Pamela G. Tietze; mother Dorothy Wright; son Steve Tietze and wife Tracy; daughters Debbie Beck and husband Billy, Suzanne Friedland and husband John and Danielle Tietze; Sister, Lanelle Brauchle; brothers Ronny Tietze and wife Donna and Gary Tietze; brother-in-law Scott Green; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jack and Phyllis DeCuennick; grandchildren Tristan Morales, Bethany, Hillary, and Courtney Tietze, Brenna and Brooke Beck, Cade and Heston Friedland .  William served two years in the Army Infantry 3rd Armored Division.  He then began his career at City Public Service where he retired after 40 years of service.  After his retirement he continued to do what he loved best: hunting, fishing, working in the yard, planting his annual spring garden, and spending time with family and friends!  Visitation will be on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.  A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 9, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church, 9944 Leslie Rd. at Braun Rd. and Loop 1604 with Rev. Jennifer Gold officiating.  Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes.  Thank you dad for all of the wonderful memories, good times, stories and laughter you have given all of us.  We all love you and will miss you greatly!  Please visit www.mem.com of online memorial and tributes.  Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
