Sylvester A. Steubing, passed away February 28, 1988.  He was a Bexar County native and lived here all his life.  He was born March 7, 1895.  He was a retired farmer and was preceded in death by his wife Louise in 1958.  He is survived by his sister; Martha Benke of San Antonio and numerous nieces and nephews.  Services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 1988 at 10:00 a.m. in The Roy Akers Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Mark Lundquist.  Interment will be in The Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes, Tx.
