Sylvester Steubing (1864 - 1936)
STEUBING--died Sunday, July 19. Sylvester Steubing, aged 71 years. Beloved father of Ludwig, Oscar, Sylvester and Erwin Steubing. Mrs. Robert Gass and Mrs. Alfred Benke; brother of Charles and Henry Steubing, Mrs. Henry Reininger and Mrs. Emma Meyer. Also survived by 14 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of the daughter, Mrs. Alfred Benke, 808 Rivas Street this (Monday) afternoon, 230 o'clock by Rev. Max Reinrich of the Lutheran Church. Interment in the Helotes Cemetery by the Riebe Undertaking Company.
