STEUBING

Mr. Richard Fred Steubing, died Sunday, September 16, 1984, at the age of 85 years.  He was a liftime member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, Tex., a chater member of the Grange Hall at Leon Valley, and a member of the Farm Bureau.  Mr. Steubing is survived by Wife, Mrs. Hulda Steubing; daughter and son-in-law, Frances and Julius Siebert; sons and daughters-in-law, Muriel E. and Verna Belle Steubing (all of San Antonio) and Orville J. and Margie Ann Steubing of Hondo, Tex.; brothers, Emanuel A. and Raymond Steubing; sisters, Mrs. Hilda Hand, Mrs. Ada Krueger and Mrs. Dorothy Wright (all of San Antonio); other survivors include: 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  A prayer service will be held Monday, September 17, 8:00 p.m., Roy Akers Funeral Chapels.  There will be visitation Tuesday, September 18, at 10:00 a.m. in Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, after which funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Gordon Kuenemann officiating.  Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes, Tex.
