Bertha A. Steubing, wife of Johnny E. Steubing, who preceded her in death, died Monday, December 27, 1993 at the age of 87. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. Surviving is her son, Virgil (Buddy) Steubing of Helotes; daughter, Evelyn (Sis) Shaw of Irving, TX; 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Mae Burns and Bobbie Hunt of San Antonio. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 31st 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, Rev. Scot Sorensen, officiating. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be her 6 great-grandsons. Visitation will begin Thursday, December 30th 6:00 P.M. at Roy Akers Funeral Chapels.
