ROGERS

Nelson E. Rogers, born on January 1, 1929, in Kenedy, TX, passed away on October 11, 2000 at the age of 71.  Mr. and Mrs. Rogers are members of the Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, TX.  He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nancy; his sons, Byron Rogers and his wife Carol, and Jeff Rogers and his wife Judy; grandchildren, Jessica, Jake and Rachelle Rogers; sister, Greta and Gary Frantzen, and his nephews who will serve as pallbearers.  Visitation at 3:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2000 at Zion Lutheran Church with Funeral Services beginning at 4:00 P.M. with Rev. Peter Manfred officiating.  Interment to follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Cancer Therapy and Research Center, the American Cancer Society, or to the charity of your choice.
