Louise Elizabeth Rogers, age 90, passed away June 10, 1997.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, TX.  Prior to Zion, a charter member of Ascension Lutheran of San Antonio.  She was born in Chicago, IL on November 9, 1906.  At age 6, she moved with her family to Kenedy, TX.  She was confirmed at Elim Lutheran Church in Kenedy, TX. Louise was preceded in death by husband, Ernest W. Rogers; father, Chas. A. Nelson; mother, Anna Sophia Nelson; sisters, Ann Kasper and Linea Gustafson.  Survivors include her daughter, Greta and her husband, Gary Frantzen of Fredericksburg; grandson, Willi and wife, Paula and their children, Sam and Jack of San Antonio.  Also, grandson, Tim and his daughter, Patience of Fredericksburg; son, Nelson and his wife, Nancy Rogers; grandson, Byron and his wife, Carol and their daughter, Rochelle; grandson, Jeffrey and his wife, Judy and their children, Jessica and Jake, all of San Antonio; brother, Mons Nelson and his wife, Eva of Uvalde, TX; and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be 7 - 9 P.M., Wednesday, June 11, 1997 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Rd.  Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, 9944 Leslie Rd. with Pastors Vernon Breitkruetz and Peter Manfred, officiating.  Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
