Malinda Marie Braun Palowski born September 19, 1914 went to be with our Lord on April 5, 2005 at the age of 90. She was a lifelong resident of San Antonio, TX and a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, TX. Malinda was a librarian at St. John Lutheran and very active in three Bunco Clubs as well as the American Business Women's Assoc., Golden Eagle and Principia. She was the daughter of the late Robert A. and Marie Skolaut Braun. Malinda was preceded in death by her husband Frank N. Palowski, Sr. and her brother Arthur A. Braun. It's well known that she was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. Survivors include her children Linda Nelson (Eddie Jett), Anita Roberts, and Frank (Sharon) Palowski, Jr. 'Oma' was greatly loved and will be especially missed by her grandchildren: Lisa (Mitchell) Diehl, Justin (Tracy) Barnes, Troy (Shawna) Palowski, Shannon (Scott) Davis; great-grandchildren: Shayne and Ty Palowski, Travis and Ryan Diehl, Joshua and Daniel Barnes; sister-in-law Connie Braun; nieces, nephews and numerous other family and friends. The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Garcia and caregivers, Brian and Rose.

Malinda Palowski was born on September 19, 1914 in San Antonio, Texas. She was one of two children born to parents Mariechen (Skolaut) and Robert Braun. She was baptized into Christ's family in 1919 and confirmed in her faith on April 28, 1929 here at Zion.
Malinda and Frank Palowski were married on April 5, 1941 and together they were blessed with three children: Linda Nelson, Anita Roberts and Frank Palowski, Jr.
Malinda was a person who loved life and loved people. She found great joy in children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed being with people, whether it was for a game of bunco or working in the library with her friends at church.
She also delighted in God's creation through maintaining her garden and, in her later years, watching the cattle and birds through her window. Malinda will be remembered as a humble woman, a peacemakeer who endured a hard life but greaw strong through it.
Malinda's life with us came to and end on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. We look forward to our resurrection day when all who believe will be reunited in Christ.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Palowski, Sr. She is survived by her children Linda Nelson & significant other Clarence Jett, Anita Roberts, Frank Palowski, Jr. and wife Sharon; grandchildren Lisa Diehl and husband Mitchell, Justin Barnes and wife Tracy, Troy Palowski and wife Shawna, Shannon Davis and husband Scott; and great-grandchildren Shayne Palowski, Ty Palowski, Travis Diehl, Ryan Diehl, Joshua Barnes, Daniel Barnes.
