Funeral services for Fred Nickels, 78, who died in a local hospital Friday will be held Sunday afternoon, Rev. W. W. Laubach of the Helotes Lutheran Church officiating. Pallbearers will be; Charles, Gus and Louis Nickels, Robert Braun, Herman and Alfred Wehmeyer. Mr. Nickels was a native of Germany, but had resided near Helotes for the past 61 years. He was a member of the Helotes Lodge Order of Hermann Sons.
