Mr. Charles Nickel, 90 years of age, died Tuesday, November 6, 1984. Member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, Texas and retired farmer . Survivors: Daughters, Cedalia Weahmeyer(sic), Myrtle Nickel and Florine Nickel; sons, Leroy Nickel, Gerald Nickel, and Glen Nickel; sister, Mrs. Amalia Becker, all of San Antonio; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren. Services 2 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 1984 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes with Pastor Gordon Kuenemann and Chaplain Earl Milbareth(sic) officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes, Texas.
