Nathan L. Lanford, born in D'Hanis, TX, age 92, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2002. Mr. Lanford is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years, Eula Mae Lanford; children, Nancy Rogers, Gary Lanford, Sandra Theis and husband Robert; grandchildren, Byron and Jeffrey Rogers, Steve, Tom and David Lanford, Rocky Lawrence and Myles Theis; great-grandchildren, Jessica Chamberland, Jake and Rachelle Rogers; great-great-grandchildren, Mikayla Chamberland, and Liana Lanford; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 30, 2002 at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.

Nathan Lemuel Lanford
November 5, 1909 - August 27, 2002
Nathan was born on November 5, 1909 in D'Hanis, Texas, the third of ten children born to Lilla (Parker) & Thomas Lanford. He was baptized into his Lord on April 10, 1956 at Ascension Lutheran Church here in San Antonio and has been a member of Zion Lutheran church since February 26, 1978.
Nathan married his beloved wife of 71 years on February 22, 1931. This marriage blessed them with three children, Nancy, Gary and Sandra.
Nathan worked for Singer Corporation for 42 years and retired from the position of General Manager. He has enjoyed working his ranch ever since.
Nathan's life with us came to an end on Tuesday, August 27, 2002. We look forward to our resurection day when all who believe will be reunited in Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Eula Mae; daughter Nancy Rogers; son, Gary Lanford; daughter Sandra Theis and husband Robert; grandchildren Bryon and Jeffrey Rogers, Steve, Tome and David Lanford, Rocky Lawrence and Myles Theis; great-grandchildren Jessica Chamberland, Jake and Rachelle Rogers; great-great-grandchildren Mikayla Chamberland and Liana Lanford; numerous nieces and nephews.
