Grandma

Grandma, the one who was
always there when I was down
When we were sad
      she would turn things around.
She always gave me an
      arm to lay on.
She taught my family
      right from wrong.
Us grandchildren loved to go
      to Granny and Grandpa's house.
Grandpa was always happy
      because of his special spouse.
We will miss Grandma so very much
      but by prayer we will
      keep in touch.
And if we do shed a tear,
we will think of the good times
we had when she was here.
And Grandma, if you hear this,
      and I hope you do,
Hear these three words:
      I LOVE YOU!
Paige Yecker
