KRUEGER
Ada Katherine Krueger, age 90, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2002. Mrs. Krueger was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund C. Krueger, Sr. and daughter-in-law, Rubie R. Krueger. Mrs. Krueger is survived by her children, Lester Krueger and Bonnie Stout, Edmund Krueger, Jr., Darlene 'Dolly'' Langfeld and husband Harold; sister, Dorothy Wright; grandchildren, Chuck Krueger, Tammy Pointon and husband Mark, Joyce Helmle and husband Sam, Chere Yecker and husband David, Arlen Krueger and wife Katrine, Mark Langfeld, Michael Langfeld, Melissa Langfeld; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Tanner Pointon, Shawna, Shavawn and Samuel Helmle, Brady and Paige Yecker, Delaney and Jenna Krueger, Brandon and Brooke Butler, Bre-anna Boisvert, Shane and Jonathan Langfeld; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. A Visitation will be held 6:00 - 9:00 P.M., Sunday, February 3, 2002 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Monday, February 4, 2002 at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes, TX. Memorial contributions may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes Building Fund.

Ada Katherine Steubing Krueger
March 22, 1911 - January 31, 2002
Ada Krueger was born on March 22, 1911 in San Antonio, Texas, the sixth of eight children born to Francis Bormann Steubing and Henry Steubing, Jr. She was baptized into the Christian faith on July 23, 1911 here at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes. She was confirmed on April 5, 1925. Her life was part of 90 years of Zion Lutheran churchs's 98 year history.
Ada comes from a family that was very instrumental in developing the community of and around Zion. Her father helped to build Church #1, and our neighborhood Steubing Elementary School was named for him.
For the last three years Harvest Care Nursing Home was where Ada resided and is where she passed away this past thursday at the age of 90 years. Burial will be in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
