Edward "Ed" Louis Kempf, age 78, of Grey Forest died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1987.  He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes and had lived in the San Antonio area for all of his life.  Survivors include his wife, Bertha Kempf of Grey Forest; daughters; Margaret Harrison of San Antonio and Geraldina "Gerry" Keeton of Houston; sister Anne Golden of Kirby; 7 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 26, 1987 at 2:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North, 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr. with The Rev. Dr. Gordon Kuenemann and The Rev. Elizabeth Lundquist officiating.  Interment will follow at Hermann Sons Cemetery in Macdona, Texas.  In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to Casa Helotes (Meals-on-Wheels), Helotes, TX 78023.  Visitation hours for Mr. Kempf will be held on Friday from 7 to 9 P.M.

Edward Kempf Dies At 78

Edward (Ed) Louis Kempf of Grey Forest died Wednesday, Dec. 23, and was buried Dec. 26 in Hermann Sons Cemetery in Macdonna following services at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North.  The Revs. Gordon Kuenemann and Elizabeth Lundquist of Zion Lutheran Church officiated.  Survivors include his wife, Bertha; two daughters, Margaret Harrison of San Antonio, and Geraldine Keeton of Houston; a sister, Annie Golden of Kirby; two grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
