Bertha Kempf, 85, died Saturday, September 2, 1995.  She was born in Macdona, TX and had lived in the San Antonio area all of her life.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes.  Mrs. Kempf was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Ed" Louis Kempf in 1987, by her daughter, Geraldina "Gerry" Keeton, and by a grandson, Carl Harrison.  Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Travis Harrison of San Antonio; son-in-law, John Keeton of LaVernia, TX; 8 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, September 4, 1995, at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, 9944 Leslie Road, with Rev. Peter Manfred and Rev. Scot Sorensen officiating.  Burial will follow at Hermann Sons Cemetery, Macdona, TX.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Zion Lutheran Church Restoration Fund for Church No. 1, or to Meals on Wheels at CASA Helotes, or to a charity of your choice.  Visitation will be for one hour before service time at the church.  Arrangements by
