JONAS

Roland H. Jonas Sr., died Saturday, February 13, 1988.  Member of Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes.  Past President of Hermann Sons Lodge #76 in Helotes.  Member of Beautify San Antonio Association.  Life member and Director Emeritus of San Antonio Livestock Exposition.  Retired after 40 years of service with the Union Stockyards.  Survivors: wife, Beatrice E. Jonas, S.A.; daughter, Shirley Ann Jonas, S.A.; son and daughter-in-law Roland Jr. and Sue Jonas, Cebolo (sic), Tx.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Ernest Lieck, S.A., Delrose and Delroy Finck, Bulverde, Tx.; step-grandchildren, Charlotte and Tom Fuleki, S.A., Michele and Richard Edwards, S.A., Lesli Greenlee, Cibolo, Martye Greenlee, Somerset; step-great-grandson, Andrew T. Fuleki.  Three nephews and three nieces, a host of relatives and friends.  Services Tuesday, February 16, 1988, 10:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes with the Rev. Gordon Kuenemann and Rev. Elizabeth Lundquist officiating.  Nephews and great-nephews will serve as pallbearers.  Memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.  Interment Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes.  Visitation at the funeral home will be Monday, February 15, 1988 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
