After a long life of 88 years, much health and happiness, Leona Ann Johnson passed away on August 21, 2003. She was born on March 9, 1915 to Adeline & Fred Logeman. She was employed by Frito Lay for 20 years, retiring in 1974. Since her retirement, she has enjoyed her bunco group, dancing with the Golden Age Seniors, playing cards with the Highland Park Lutheran Church Retirees, table games and dancing at the Moose Lodge, cheering for the Spurs, and spending time with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, brother, and husband, Charles Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Dottie Williams and Betty Kersey; son, G.R.'Butch' Hillmer and wife Nancy; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; special friend, Art Gay; and many other family and friends. Visitation will begin Sunday, August 24, 2003 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 25, 2003 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 502 E. Nueva, San Antonio, TX with Pastor Bob Braun officiating.
