Richard Herbert Gass, age 68 of Castroville, passed away February 13, 1995.  He was born December 11, 1926.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Gass of Castroville; mother, Edna Gass of Castroville; daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie Stein and Linda Deborah Gass both of Castroville, Peggy and Mike McKee of Devine and Cathy and Tommy Zavisch of Tilden; brothers, Oscar Gass and David Gass both of San Antonio and Gilbert Gass of Somerset; sisters, Linda Becker and Lillie Mae Wells both of San Antonio and Stella Elseworth of Comfort; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  Visitation for Richard and his granddaughter, Sarah Stein, will be Thursday, February 16, 1995 from 8:30 A.M. to 8:30 P.M. at the Tondre-Guinn Funeral Home.  Funeral services for Richard and his granddaughter will be held together Friday, February 17, 1995 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Louis Catholic church in Castroville.  Interment will follow the funeral service in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Castroville.
