GALM

Elsie Waltisperger Galm, age 81, died Monday, August 29, 1988, in Provo, Utah of causes incident to age.  She was born November 2, 1906 in San Antonio, Texas, daughter of Benjamin and Bertha Bippert Waltisperger.  On December 25, 1935 she married Fred August Galm in San Antonio, Texas.  She received her education in San Antonio and lived here until five years ago when she and her husband moved to Provo.  She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, actively working in the church and singing in the choir.  She worked in a thrift store associated with the area hospital.  She and her husband operated a 110 acre farm until his retirement.  Survivors include her husband, of Provo; one daughter, Mrs. Keith (Adeline) Johnson, of Provo; also three grandsons and two great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister, Herman Waltisperger of Karnes City, Texas, and Louise Belzung of San Antonio, Texas; also numerous nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held Friday, September 2, 1988 at 11:00 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes, Texas, with Rev. Malcolm Hoffman and Rev. Gordon Kuenemann officiating.  Interment in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Helotes.
