Jon R. Galland passed away on June 3, 2008 at the age of 44. Words cannot adequately describe the fun loving and genuinely caring spirit of Jon, who was born on February 9, 1964 in Arlington, Texas. Jon grew up in Helotes, TX where he was a graduate of John Marshall High School in 1982 and also a graduate of Texas A & M University in 1986. He worked for many years in the insurance industry and was the former owner of Texcess RE of Boerne, Texas. The love of Jon's life were his three children, he called themselves the "Four J's". The memories of time spent at the lake on the boat, rodeos and golfing will be cherished by everyone. Jon was always ready with a funny joke or story to be shared. He will be remembered and celebrated by many family members and friends, especially by his chidren Jonathan, Jenna and Jocelyn Galland of Boerne, TX; his parents, Richard and Barbara Galland of Helotes, TX; his sisters; Jill Nunneley and husband Jerry, and Jennifer Galland, all of San Antonio; his brother, Jack Galland and wife Rhonda of Lubbock, TX; and his 6 nieces and nephews. We all love you and will miss you greatly. Remember, "That which is given to us, we keep forever, for love never ends".

Jon was born on February 9, 1964 in Arlington, Texas. He ws the third of four children born to Barbara & Richard Galland. He was baptized at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Arlington, Texas and confirmed here at Zion Lutheran Church on June 4, 1978.
Jon grew up in Helotes and graduated from John Marshall High School in 1982 and Texas A&M University in 1986. Jon was a successful businessman in the insurance industry and the former owner of Texcess RD in Boerne, Texas..
He loved time spent at the lake, rodeos and golfing; but most of all he loved his three children, Jonathan, Jenna and Jocelyn. They were the loves of his life. Spending time with his children gave him great joy.
Family and friends know Jon as a fun-loving guy who enjoyed joking with and teasing those around him. He had a great heart, loved fun and loved his family.
Jon's live with us came to an end this past Tuesday. We look forward to our resurrection day when all who believe will be reunited in Christ.
He is survived by his children Jonathan, Jenna and Jocelyn; his parents Barbara & Richard Galland, sisters Jill Nunneley and husband Jerry; and Jennifer Galland; brother Jack Galland and wife Rhonda, and six nieces and nephews.
