Eleanor K. Ebert, born on November 12, 1913 in Bexar County, went to be with the Lord on May 20, 2003 at the age of 89. She was member of the Venetta Lodge of Hermann & Sons over 60 years and a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 8134 at La Coste, TX. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, four sisters and daughter, Barbara Ann Saul. Mrs. Ebert is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Hilmar Ebert; two daughters, Mary Guerra and husband Johnny, Connie Antonikowski and husband Richard; two sons, Robert Owens and wife Barbara and Harold Owens Jr. and wife Mary Alice; one brother, Ed Franger and wife Irva; 16 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of many friends. Visitation will begin on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at Mission Park Funeral Chapels South, 1700 S. E. Military Dr., San Antonio, TX from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. A Funeral Service will be on Friday, May 23, 2003 at 9:00 A.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Helotes, TX. Arrangements are with Mission Park Funeral Chapels South.
