The Lord welcomed Bernice Cockrell on December 14, 2003.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Victor Wehmeyer and Bill Cockrell; sister, Edith Turner.  Bernice is survived by daughters, Wilma Tabor and husband Leroy, Linda Spears and husband Freddie; son, Roy Allen Rose; sister, Bobbie Jo Mueller; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.  A Church Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes with Interment to follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.  Mision Park Funeral Chapels North.
