Mrs. Sonja F. Bertie, age 53, died on June 13, 1995 in San Antonio, TX. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on August 12, 1941. She is survived by her husband: William L. Bertie; son and daughter-in-law, William Bryan and Karen Sue Bertie; daughter and son-in-law, Dana Lynn and Shannon Evers; mother, Lena Wiatt; grandchildren, Jason Edward, LaShea Nicole, and William Trent Bertie; step-grandchildren, Valerie Marie, Vanessa Syliva Tosi; sisters and brothers-in-law, Wanda and Fritz Bohne, Laura and Carl Rohan; several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 6:00 to 9:00 P.M., Wednesday at Zizik-Kearns Riebe-Saunders Funeral Home. Service: 1:00 P.M. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church. Interment to follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Officiant Pastor Peter Manfred. Pallbearers: Jimmy Bonn, Jimmy Boatwright, Danny Wright, Charlie Migh, Charlie Raz, and Robert Hudspeth. Honoraty pallbearers: Robert Burg, Rudy Buenrostro.
