Selina (Lonie) Benke, died Tuesday, August 25, 1992.  Member of both Zion Lutheran Church in Helotes and Castroville.  Survivors, husband, John E. Benke, S. A.; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Rose and David Gass, S. A., Eugenia and James Wright, Gloria and Clinton Mechler, Nancy and Joseph Schmid all of Castroville, Marilyn and Jerome Bourquin, Rio Medina, Shirlyrene and Curtis haby, Helotes; sons and daughters-in-law, Martin and Kim Benke, Castroville, Malvern and Deborah Benke, D'Hanis, Louis and Beth Benke, S.A., David Benke and Bonnie Mangold, S.A.; Russtin and Melissa Benke, Spring Branch.  Other survivors include twenty-six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister, Minerva Callie, Austin; sister-in-law, Bertha Staudy, S.A.  Funeral services Thursday, August 27, 1992, 2 P.M. Zion Lutheran Church, Helotes, with the Rev. Dr. Gordon Kuenemann officiating.  Interment to follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  Family will receive visitors Wednesday, August 26, 1992, at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
