Dee Arneson was born on March 4, 1920 in Oakland, CA. She passed away in San Antonio, TX on July 19, 2001. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church and active in her Dorcas Circle. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Arneson. Mrs. Arneson is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Armstrong and grandchildren, Kristina M. Schade, Alicia J. Schade and Pamela L. Schade. A Memorial Service will be held at Zion Lutheran church in Helotes, TX on Saturday, July 28, 2001 at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes, 9924 Leslie Road, Helotes, TX 78254 or to the charity of your choice. Entrusted to:

Dee Costa Arneson
March 4, 1920 - July 19, 2001
Dee Arneson was born March 4, 1920, the fifth of six children born to Joseph C. and Emma (Frates) Costa in Martinez, California. She was baptized into the Christian faith through St. Catherine's Catholic Church. She was educated in the Oakland, California schools and graduated from Oakland High School in 1937.
Dee drove across the Golden Gate Bridge the day after it officially opened.
On September 6, 1942, Dee married Earl W. Arneson. The Arnesons later moved to Nevada where they lived until Earl's death in 1986. At that time, Dee moved to San Antonio.
She had confirmed her faith and became a member of the Lutheran Church on May 1, 1955 and joined Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes on May 25, 1986, where she was active in the Dorcas Circle.
Dee passed away at her home in San Antonio on July 21, 2001, at the age of 81 years, 4 months and 15 days.
Dee was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl; two brothers, Joe and Lawrence; and three sisters, Madalyn, Dorothy and Leona. She is survived by her daughter, Kathleen A. Armstrong and her husband, Mike; and her three granddaughters, Kristina M. Schade of Los Angeles, Alicia J. Schade and Pamela L. Schade, both of Houston.
