ALVARRADO

Gary Bernard Alvarado Sr., age 47, passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2008 in San Antonio, Texas.  He was born on September 8, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas to Julian Alvarado Jr. and Aurora Robles Alvarado.  Gary is preceded in death by his son, Gary B. Alvarado Jr.  Survivors include his wife of 17 years, Sheila P. Alvarado; father, Julian Alvarado Jr., mother, Aurora Robles Alvarado; daughters, Anita & Allen Seigl, Julie Alvarado & fiance, Jesse Leyva, Cynthia Niclole Alvarado and Jessica Alvarado; grandchildren, Autumn, Branden, Ariana and Jordan Nathaniel; sisters, Charlene & Rudy Maldonado and Marlene & Tony Balencia; brother, Julian J. Alvarado III; and loving family.  Visitation will take place from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with an evening service at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 2, 2008 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 3, 2008 at Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes with Rev. Jennifer Gold officiating.  Interment will follow at 12:00 Noon at Lytle Community Cemetery in Lytle, Texas. Sunset Northwest Funeral Home.
