Buried in the Zion Lutheran Church of Helotes Cemetery
There are two Civil War Veterans buried in Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Fritz Bormann served with the Union Army and Heinrich (Henry) Steubing served with the Confederate Army. A military grave marker has been obtained for Corporal Firtz Bormann. Research continues on Heinrich Steubing with the goal of obtaining a military grave markers for him also.
