I was born in New York City, and raised on Long Island , New York . My wife, Virginia, spent a lot of her life around Portland, Oregon . Now we're in Texas , thousands of miles from everyone we used to know. |

I'm retired from the US Air Force . I work for a firm called ACS Government Services. At my office, in San Antonio, Texas , we develop and maintain software for a US Army project called TAMMIS (Theater Army Medical Management Information System). |

Dogpile uses all the search engines I used to use and lots more. Many thanks to my brother, Gerry, for pointing it out to me. Recently, however, I’ve been using Google because it’s more selective in the hits it produces. Yahoo is still good when you need a topical site, and they have an excellent portal. |

For shareware, I mostly use Nonags and TUCOWS . I sometimes use C-Net’s download.com, and Cahner's Filemine . |

Maybe the next one will even have a camera… This leads to a whole bunch of new web sites, like PalmGear and PDA Mart (and, for cheapskates like me, FreewarePalm). Here are lots of other resources for palm users. |
Take a look at Virginia’s Nutcracker Collection.
