The Texas.net news server can be reached by using your news client to connect to:

news.texas.net (this is the 'news server' name).

If you are on the Texas.net network, you do not need a username or password to access the news.

If you are accessing our news server from another network, you will need to use your full texas.net email address and password.

For example, if your email address is username@texas.net, you will use that as the news server login name, and your email password for that account.
