Eudora Pro 4.3 Setup
Eudora Pro has released version 4.3 of this powerful email program. This
software is being offered to the public, free of charge as 'bannerware'.
'Bannerware' displays advertising banners until the software is registered
and the software distributor is paid for the program.
Eudora Pro allows you to set up multiple email accounts and has features to
filter unwanted email messages.
What follows are instructions to download, install, and configure
Eudora Pro 4.3, as well as instructions to install and configure
multiple email accounts to use with different email addresses.
Install Eudora Pro
- Click to download Eudora Lite. You will be asked to complete a survey. The survey is
optional; only an email address is required. When prompted for a location to
save the file, select 'Desktop'.
- Double-click the 'Eudora43' icon on your desktop.
- Click 'Next' in the 'Welcome' window to begin setup and
Click 'Yes' in the 'License Agreement' window.
- Click 'Next' in the 'Choose Components' window that appears.
- Click 'Next' on the 'Chose Destination Location' window.
This normally defaults to c:\program files\eudora - if you have
previously installed Eudora Lite, you will need to pick a different folder,
so you do not lose any mail you have received previously. To do this,
click on 'Browse' and then change the path to something like
c:\program files\eudorapro and click on 'OK'. Then click
on 'Next'.
- Click 'Yes' when asked 'Do you want to create a shortcut'.
- The next screen will ask if you wish to install accessories and to view the
'readme' file. These accessories are optional, and are not
supported by the Texas.Net support staff. You may view the 'readme'
file if you wish. Close the file when finished.
- You may delete the Eudora43 icon (the install file) if you wish.
You may register this software by selecting 'Help' | 'Payment &
Registration', if you wish to disable the banner advertising.
